The Story Behind Moon Mountain 😊

Moon Mountain was created as a space to help you slow down, tune in, and feel more connected - to yourself, to your animal companions, to your spaces, to nature, and to the life you're creating.

Founded in 2024 by Reiki Master and Crystal Practitioner Jackie O’Brien, Moon Mountain grew out of Jackie’s personal journey toward greater balance and well-being. From a young age, she was drawn to the natural energy of crystals, collecting them intuitively and meditating with them long before knowing their names or meanings.

While working in the fast paced world of fashion and design, she turned to Reiki and energy work as a way to manage stress and restore a sense of calm and clarity. What began as a personal practice evolved into a meaningful path - one that helped her reconnect with herself and align more closely with what felt authentic and fulfilling.

After the pandemic, Jackie pursued formal training in Reiki, Crystal work and Intuitive energy practices, building on years of personal exploration and a lifelong connection to the energetic world.

Moon Mountain weaves together 25 years of creative and fashion industry experience with dedicated training in Reiki and holistic practices. After a deepening commitment to energy work, Jackie transitioned fully into the wellness space, bringing a heart-led, grounded, and expansive approach to her practice.

At Moon Mountain, Jackie offers a grounded, intuitive approach to Reiki—supporting clients seeking more ease, presence, and balance in their daily lives.  Today, Moon Mountain offers a range of personalized services to support you, your animal companions, and your space - including Reiki sessions, crystal therapy, energy clearing for spaces and intuitive animal communication.  Our services are designed to bring more harmony, clarity, creativity, relaxation, and renewal into your life.

The name Moon Mountain was inspired by a dream Jackie's son, Phoenix, had after they moved from Canada’s Coast Mountains to Europe — a quiet reminder that change can open the door to new possibilities.
